Scott Medlin, DVM

Veterinary Intern at Stahl Exotic Animal Veterinary Services

Scott is originally from the Midwest, calling Omaha, NE
his hometown although he is excited to make Washington, DC his new stomping
grounds.
-
Prior to vet school, Scott worked for two years in
small animal and exotic animal pet medicine as a veterinary assistant and
spent two years in primate research at the Wisconsin Primate Research
Center.

He has had a long term interest in exotics, with a
special interest in reptiles and big cats.

He is currently pursuing his internship in exotic
animal medicine here at Stahl Exotic Animal Veterinary Services

Graduate from the University of Wisconsin’s
School of
Veterinary Medicine in May of 2009.

He hopes to eventually become board certified in either
Avian or Zoo medicine.

His flock at home has recently thinned a bit, but he
now keeps 3 cats, 3 curly hair tarantulas, a red tail boa, and a little
betta fish.
