
F. Morgan Dawkins, DVM
Dr. Dawkins has a special interest
in exotics as well as surgery, especially orthopedics. He has known
since elementary school that he wanted to be a veterinarian. The
most memorable experiences of his career were his first day working
as a doctor and the day he had a Bengal Tiger cub as a patient at Windcrest. Dr. Dawkins enjoys providing high quality care by
continually learning new techniques and information.

Dr. Dawkins has worked with a local Wildlife Rehabilitator providing
veterinary care and has given multiple school presentations about pet care and
the veterinary field.
His family includes beautiful wife Jennifer, a veterinarian at Hockessin
Animal Hospital, and children Collin, Bailey, Sidney and Trevor. Family pets
include dogs, Gilly ,a Border Collie currently being trained for sheep herding
trials, and Spot; cats Taz, Tahlula and Tibby; a rabbit named Luna; a Guinea Pig
named Max; 2 tortoises, Jack and Tortellini; 2 chinchillas, Izzy and Kylie; salt
water fish ; pen full of chickens and ducks; and a small flock of sheep for
Gilly. His hobbies include woodworking, gardening, motorcycle riding, sitting on
the beach in Aruba, and reptiles.
